Should the Chargers Move on from Herbert?
The Chargers are off to a rocky start this year going 0-3, and honestly Herbert is responsible for a lot of it. His stats show that he is currently at 627 passing yards, 3 passing touchdowns and 4 interceptions, which is the second most in the NFL. I mean he is just playing terribly right now, and it shows. Honestly, he is a top-three worst QB in the league right now. I would even rather have an injured Jaxson Dart than the current version of Justin Herbert. I literally would rather have him than Herbert right now.
It doesn’t even look like he is practicing anymore. I know we all saw that clip of him playing with his girlfriend's hair during training camp. What in the Disney movie does he have going on? Herbert, get your priorities straight!
And All of this isn't because of this year, he has been in the league for six years now and has been to the playoffs three times and lost every single time He blew a 27-0 lead to the Jags in 2022, blew another lead in 2025 to the Texans, and had another which is understandable-against the No.2-seeded Patriots.
At some point, the Chargers have to start asking themselves: Is Justin Herbert still the guy to lead this team?
